Brand & Website Redesign for Isabelina

When I first started working with Isabelina in 2014, I was thrilled to have a blank canvas at my fingertips, and since then I have created and managed their Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram profiles. I have also had them profiled in some of South Africa’s top lifestyle and decor magazines.

Which is why the next two big projects for the brand included an all-important new website and brand rejuvenation.  Isabelina currently has five stores based in Cape Town, George and Johannesburg, with two more stores opening up within the next six months in Johannesburg. Needless to say, they are making their mark in the South African retail space as the leading authority on luxury décor, lighting, furniture and gifting, always at the forefront of the latest trends from around the world.

This new era for the brand needed to be reflected online and in their corporate image. The logo brief was to retain the pink “b” which is synonymous with the Isabelina brand yet to modernise the look and feel. So we did away with the old and brought in the new…

Old logo:

We also added in a textured background to use on the website and in various printed stationery and in-store posters or sale material.

I also incorporated the black petal texture into Isabelina’s new website, for which I managed the the design and content layout. The new site is also home to Judith’s blog where she shares her design inspiration, décor tips and new products in-store. All content, copy and blog posts have been managed, coordinated and written by me up until January 2018.
