The Plumstead Electrical Group is a company close to my heart. My uncle founded the company 50 years ago, a small appliance repair shop on Main Road Plumstead. Today it is a thriving business encompassing the Southern Suburbs branch Plumstead Electrical Wholesalers and Lighting Showroom based in Diep River, and their Northern Suburbs branch, Okavango Electrical Wholesalers and Lighting Showroom located in Brackenfell. Two years ago their West Coast branch, Atlantic Electrical Wholesalers opened its doors, servicing the development-rich West Coast area. 

I came on board ten years ago to assist the company with the coordination of their launch function for their Okavango Lighting Showroom and I haven’t looked back. Since then I have been responsible for launching their three electrical and four lighting websites, coordinating all their photography, managing their digital and online content, creating and managing their monthly newsletters and managing their three Facebook pages. I also coordinate all promotions with their suppliers and their annual customer gifting.

Highlights of my journey marketing the Plumstead Electrical group include coordinating their 50 year birthday celebrations in 2018, which involved countless celebrations, promotions, and special giveaways.
